New Players
This section is for people that are interested, but have never played Vampire: The Masquerade. Hopefully you are familer with role playing but if not I will be happy to explain.
First of all, we are not a cult. We do not drink blood, or sacrifice anything. We are normal everyday people, with normal everyday jobs and lives (except for me). We do not encourage the practice of the occult, or cultism. We do not encourage vamprism.
Live Action Role Playing is, essentially, improviasational acting with a few guidelines. The player makes a character following the guidelines given in The Laws of the Night; a book put out by the company White Wolf. When the character creation is finished you get to pretend that you are actually that character. You play out that character's motives, idiocyncracies, plots, and plans. You become that character for an evening.
If you wish to learn how to play this game, honestly, the best way is to come to a game. All challenges are resolved with the rosh-am-bo method, so you will certainly be safe.
